Semiramis, Karim Rashid’s first hotel project, is an intimate hotel that focuses on positive energy, heightened experiences, culture, art and design. It is a place for new contemporary experiences, to enjoy, work and relax in a truly memorable way.
Semiramis is located in the affluent and leafy suburb of Kifissia, is in the heart of evolving Athens, surrounded by high-end boutiques, restaurants and cafes.
Visiting guests will have the chance to experience a 21st-century creation: from the curve in a desk to the light-box installation behind the beds, Semiramis combines art with bricks and mortar.

Sofa One is a fun, functional, and clever sofa designed with an eye for imagination and utilizing space to the utmost. Designed by Karim Rashid. The Sofa One can be right facing or left facing. It has a finished wood portal for magazines and stashables, and the cushion slice can be up for chaise lounging or down for more formal sitting.

Most of us have only been exposed to the concept of infinite loops while on hold with your credit card or phone company, but infinite loops can also be a beautiful and less frustrating concept not involving a phone. Aesthetically popularized by M.C. Escher, Escher himself would be feverishly sharpening his pencil if got a gander of this infinite loop forming table. Inspired by the “slow and perpetual flow of the Nile River,” the “Endless Nile” table by Karim Rashid, is a fluid form of DuPont Corian molded over a steel structure on a wooden base. As part of the newly formed Design Republic of Egypt brand, Mr. Rashid’s composition for Amr Helmy Designs hopes to showcase Egyptian’s take on international design trends around the globe.
