Stroh House, designed by Zurich based architect Felix Jerusalem, combines prefab with sustainable materials, primarily prefabricated strawboard panels that provide affordable, environmentally sound insulation.
A corrugated plastic exterior protects the compressed strawboard which is structural and serves as the primary heat and sound insulation. The clean lines of the exterior translate to the inside with a simple layout that serves three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bath and loft.
I really love the Nora House designed by Than & Videgard Hansson Arkitekter. It’s like a big grey wall with wood frames were life happens. The interiors are also beautiful, clean and spacious were light flows. Impressive.
This house, located in a sharply inclined terrain, is a composition of small linked and interconnected volumes. It consists of three bedrooms, a social bathroom, a living room, a dinning room, a small kitchen with a support washbasin, pantry, and even a small outdoor swimming pool. It faces south, allowing it to receive optimal solar exposure and to enjoy a particular natural view. The living area does not exceed 180sqm.
