Have all the worldly pleasures made you a sloth, detesting even a hint of work? Thank heavens you’re reading the right bit. Up on hataar, there are several interesting projects by new breed of industrial designers at Bezalel. Among these creative minds is Alon Blumenzweig. This designer has posted some interesting concepts and ‘toaSti’ is one that I’ve found quite likeable. This is a design for a toaster and the interesting thing about this is that it flattens out after the slice of your bread is done to perfection. The silicone-based toasting system is thus also a very handy tray. That way you’re saved the trouble of fetching an extra piece of utensil to dispose of the breakfast that you’ve somehow bothered to cook. Seems a cool concept to me. Especially suited for people low on china. Eating out of tins? Try toasters now!
